Paul Pogba has retained his place atop the Power Rankings’ summit for a third week running.
The World Cup winner produced a sublime long pass to tee up Marcus Rashford’s (No 3) winner during a 1-0 win at Tottenham – extending Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s win streak to six games in all competitions.
Meanwhile, United stopper David de Gea soared 58 places into runner-up spot and collected the most Power Ranking points from matchday 22 after making a staggering 11 saves to keep a clean sheet at Wembley.
Leicester full-back Ricardo Pereira (No 4) continued his steady ascent up the top 10, assisting Wilfred Ndidi’s consolation goal in a 2-1 defeat against Southampton.
Tottenham trio Harry Kane (No 5), Christian Eriksen (No 6) and Heung-Min Son (No 9) all tumbled down the chart, with Son set to crash out the chart over the coming weeks due to international commitments with South Korea.
Everton full-back Lucas Digne (No 7) reentered the top 10 and edged into No 9 spot in the season chart after whipping in a cross for Kurt Zouma to nod the Toffees ahead in a 2-0 win against Bournemouth.
Watford’s Troy Deeney retained No 8 spot after winning a team-topping number of duels in a 2-1 win at Crystal Palace, while Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino (No 10) narrowly kept his place among the top performers after a 1-0 win at Brighton.
The Power Rankings methodology reflects a player’s performance by awarding points for 34 different stats.
