Republic Bank to open outlets in newly created regions

The Republic Bank formerly called HFC Bank is considering opening new branches in the newly created Savannah and North East regions in the Northern part of the country.

It says management of the bank is taking steps in that regard as consideration was high on the table and it will soon initiate feasibility studies on the two new regions.

Managing Director of the bank, Anthony Jordan, made this disclosure when he inaugurated a new branch in Tamale, the Northern regional capital.

HFC Bank Limited was rebranded last year to the Republic Bank Ghana Limited as a proud member of the Republic Financial Holdings Limited Group.

The rebranding was to make the bank more relevant, stronger and bigger in the banking industry in Ghana and beyond.

The bank which started as a non banking financial company has made significant strides in the mortgage industry and has now expanded its operations to provide retail banking service and corporate banking among other exciting products.

The commissioning of the Tamale branch was attendant by management and staff of the bank, the Regent of Tamale, Dakpema Bawa Fuseini, customers as well as some invited guests. Managing Director of the bank, Anthony Jordan, said the Republic bank was fast rising towards a new horizon with a new standard of banking where its customers will be served with excellent service delivery by highly trained staff.

He added that it was for this reason the bank was investing in its branch décor and ambience while improving its services including an enhanced digital services which will be launched soon.

Mr. Jordan pledged the banks resolve to offer its customers the best and new standard of banking at a convenient and serene environment at all its branches.

The Zonal Manager of the bank, Kobina Sarfo Manu, promised to work hard to make Republic Bank the most profitable and customer focused bank in the Northern Zone. Some of the customers of the bank commended management and staff of the bank for their customer care relationship and urged others particularly businesses to join the bank
