Organised Labour has urged government to take a critical look at inequities in the public sector salary structure.
Speaking at a Post-Budget Policy forum in Accra, the Director of the Labour Policy and Research Institute, of the Trades Union Congress, Dr. Kwabena Nyarko Otoo said although governments always complain about the huge wage bill of the public sector, it is worrying to note that while some are receiving very huge pay, others take meager amounts which can barely cater for their basic needs.
