The Minister of Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has inaugurated a seven-member Investigation Committee to probe alleged unethical medical practices, commonly referred to as medical kalabule, at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and the Greater Accra Regional Hospital (Ridge).

According to a press release issued by the Ministry, the Committee was constituted by the Minister for Health, to ensure accountability and strengthen ethical standards within Ghana’s healthcare system.
