More than 159 million dollars is said to have been allegedly misappropriated in the construction of the Saglemi Housing Project.
Minister of Works and Housing, Samuel Atta Akyea at a media briefing said a formal complaint has been made to the Criminal Investigation Department and investigations will begin in earnest.
The Mahama Administration started the five thousand unit affordable Housing Project in 2012. Works have however stalled over allegations of misappropriation.
