Six weeks vacation classes end in Odododiodooo

A six week vacation classes for primary and JHS children in the Odododiodooo constituency has ended in Accra.

The programme an initiative of the Odododiadoo community Focus, an NGO, is aimed at keeping the children off the streets, during the vacation through remedial classes.

Speaking to Radio Ghana Pastor Vincent Davies, one of the ten resource persons engaged in the programme commended the Venerable Nathaniel Nartey a biblical psychodosist based in the US for the vision in initiating the classes.

The principal objectives of Odododiodoo Community Focus is to keep the children off the streets, market places and beaches during vacation… through remedial classes, help the youth redefine their future, help the adults overcome illiteracy via adults’ education, healthcare services, to keep the area healthy; regular sanitation programs, skilled training.

Pastor Davies said plans to start remedials for SHS students, Adult Literacy classes and a skills training programme are in place.
