Spain have won the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup after defeating defending champions DPR Korea 4–3 on penalties following a goalless final in Łódź, Poland. The result gives Spain their second title in the competition, after their 2022 triumph.

Neither team could score during 90 minutes or extra time, although Spain created more opportunities and finished with 22 shots to DPR Korea’s nine. Alba Cerrato went close twice, while Rosalía Domínguez also tested the Korean goalkeeper.

Spain goalkeeper Laia López proved decisive in the shootout, saving penalties from Choe Yon-A and Pak Il-Sim. Spain converted four of their attempts to deny DPR Korea back-to-back titles.
