Sports Minister commends Egyptian authorities for good security measures

Ahead of Ghana’s final group game today (Tuesday) against the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau, the Minister of Youth and Sports Isaac Kwame Asiamah has expressed satisfaction on security arrangements so far in the various host cities in Egypt.

Speaking through the national Broadcaster Mr. Asiamah said the security arrangements by the Egyptian authorities is at the maximum best as he recounts how he as a Minister is being protected and also the serene environments of the supporters.

He visited all the supporters base camps in Egypt specifically those in Ismailia.

He said “let me commend the Egyptian Authorities for a good job in terms of securities so far they are making sure that our supporters are secured in terms of their movements going out and coming in military presence very good so far we have not experience any hitches and that for me it’s good for the tournament and the continent”.

After two matches without a win the Black Stars are poised for a resounding victory in the third match against the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau at the Suez station.

The match will be played at Suez Stadium at 16:00GMT, same time as the other group game involving Cameroon and Benin with Gabon referee Eric arnaud otongo-castane appointed by CAf to officiate the game.
