Despite the directive by President Akufo-Addo to avoid social gatherings to prevent contracting the deadly coronavirus, residents of Tamale and its environs seem not to be bothered.
According to GBC’s Northern Regional Correspondent, Murtala Issah, people are still organising funerals and other events with huge crowds.
He said with the attitude of the people, it will be a challenge if the virus hit the region.
He said on a visit to some part of the region, people were not observing the social distancing, adding that others are making fun with the COVID-19.
