Tarkwa-Nsuaem: Gov’t allocates over ¢200k to improve education

Government has allocated a total of ¢230,000 (two hundred and thirty thousand Ghana cedis) as capitation grant, to the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipal Education Directorate for the 2018/2019 academic year.

The Directorate has also received three thousand two hundred pieces of school uniforms as part of government’s free school uniforms intervention.

According to the Municipal Chief Executive, Kenneth Asmah, government has come up with these initiatives to enhance education in the country.

Mr. Asmah said this at a parade to mark Ghana’s 62nd Independence Anniversary at Tarkwa in the Western Region.
