Prosecution was once again not able to furnish the Tema Magistrate Court with the forensic examination reports on the footprints of suspects, in the case of the GPHA Public Affairs Manager, Josephine Asante`s murder, as promised at the last sitting.  They however presented the reports on the blood and semen samples of the accused persons.

The Investigator in the case told the Court that although the report on the footprint analysis is ready, the Director of the Crime Laboratory, who has to endorse it, is presently unavailable because of an assignment. The Magistrate, Akosua Anokyewaa Agyapong, complained about delays with the trial and ordered the Investigator to furnish the Court with the final analysis within seven days from Thursday.

She also ordered the Registry to provide Counsels with copies of the reports presented.

Counsel for the first accused person, Baba Jamal said another bail application will be filed for his client at the High Court by the 1st of July.   The houseboy of the deceased, Christian Agyei, who is the first accused person is still on remand, while the second accused person and driver of the deceased, Amos Apreku, is on bail.

The case has been adjourned to the 11th of next month.
