A survey conducted by the West African Network for Peace building, WANEP, has revealed that Ghanaians want government to prioritise Sustainable Development Goal 16, which focuses on Peace, Justice and Strong institutions.

The survey also revealed that the SDGs are not localised enough because they are in languages that very few understand.

Speaking at a Validation workshop in Accra on the progress of the SDGs by government, the National Coordinator of WANEP, Albert Yelyang called for the SDGs to be translated into the local languages, with the use of social media.

He said this will foster its effective implementation.
