The Technical University Senior Administrators Association of Ghana (TUSAAG) has declared an indefinite strike effective Wednesday, January 8, 2020, over the government’s failure to pay all allowances due to Senior Members of Technical Universities.

TUSAAG in a statement said government’s failure to comply with the ruling of the National Labour Commission has eroded the goodwill leadership of the Union showed during deliberations, hence the call for the strike.

The statement noted that the strike is therefore to register TUSAAG’s displeasure about the inability of the government to comply with the Labour Commission’s directives on November 4, 2019, in the matter between TUSAAG and the Ministry of Education to pay all allowances due Senior Members of the Technical Universities by 31st December 2019.
