Students and Alumni of the University of Education, Winneba, UEW have called off their planned demonstration which was to take place today.
The students and alumni in a statement signed by their leader Victor Osei Agyapong said they are satisfied with the timely and invaluable efforts made so far to ensure that peace and development prevail in the University.
They said they remain firm and resolute in ensuring that absolute peace and order is restored in the Institution.
Meanwhile, the Governing Council of the University of Education Winneba is set to meet this week over happenings in the University.
