An-ultra modern two unit classroom block has been inaugurated at Pleyo in the Yilo Krobo Municipality of the Eastern Region.
The project executed by the Ghana National Association of Teachers GNAT and members of the community is to address classroom deficits in the area.
Secretary General of GNAT, David Acheampong, commended the community for their support in the construction of the project.
He charged managers of the school to cultivate the habit of maintenance to prolong the life span of the facility.
He stressed that training of pupils should not be the sole responsibility of teachers and urged parents to play their roles effectively to help teachers properly groom their wards to become responsible adults in future.
Mr. Acheampong encouraged parents to pay visit to schools to be abreast of the performance of their wards, and attend PTA meetings to contribute to the development of their schools.
