The Eastern Regional Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Water Company Limited, Kwadwo Daase, has announced that, water supply to some parts of Koforidua and its environs will be interrupted due to power supply challenges at the main water plant at Bukunor in the Yilo Krobro Municipality.
In an interview with GBC’s correspondent, Mr Daase stated that, since Monday they have not been able to run their equipment to supply water to consumers.
He said the problem is yet to be detected adding that, engineers from both Power Distribution Service (PDS) and GWCL are working hard to address the problem as soon as possible.
