The 2025 edition of the African Paralympic Committee (AfPC) General Assembly was held at the luxurious Marriot Hotel in Accra, Ghana, bringing together leaders, athletes, and advocates united by a common goal — to advance the Paralympic movement across the continent.

The ceremony was graced by key dignitaries including Hon. Kofi Adams, Minister for Sports and Recreation; Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, Director General of the National Sports Authority, Charles Osei Asibey, President of the Ghana Arm-wrestling Association, among other distinguished guests. Delegates from the National Paralympic Committees and international observers gathered under one roof for the event and strengthen collaboration for the development of para sports in Africa.
