Responding on the way forward in Ghana’s football, and getting the results, Former GFA President, Lepowura Jawula used the case of Senegal(AFCON Champions), as a preamble, adding that Ghanaians need to exercise patience, if a permanent Coach is appointed.

He said though every Ghanaian was affected by the poor performance of the Black Stars at the recent AFCON, ”being patient and doing proper research is the key in achieving the ultimate goal of winning a trophy”, he posited.

Using Senegal as a case study, I think if we appoint a permanent Coach, we should learn to be patient.

”Senegal had to wait for 8years before winning a trophy and one more thing is doing research”, he reiterated.

”Football has changed in recent times and Ghanaians should learn to embrace and allow football administrators to restructure the system”.

The system in football has changed and people need to understand that, one will get this if you look at what happened between the Black Stars and Comoros” making reference to the just ended African Cup of Nations.
