Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has ruled Anthony Martial out of Manchester United’s Champions League last-16 second leg against Paris Saint Germain.

The Frenchman limped out of the 2-0 defeat at Old Trafford shortly before half-time after suffering a groin injury.

United expected Martial to be out for less than a fortnight and Solskjaer was hopeful 48 hours before the 0-0 draw with Liverpool on February 24th that the forward would feature.

However, Martial hasn’t made the progress that United had hoped and Solskjaer has admitted he’s unlikely to play on Wednesday.

‘Martial? No, I don’t think we can risk it,’ admits Solskjaer. ‘He has not been training yet, so I don’t think so’.
