Arsene Wenger is set for a big PSG job with a row brewing between sporting director Antero Henrique and coach Thomas Tuchel, according to reports in France.
As expected, PSG are cruising at the top of Ligue 1 with a 100 per cent start after nine matches, but RMC say Wenger is close to getting his first post-Arsenal gig.
In the domestic league, they have scored 32 goals and conceded just six, with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe topping the goal scoring list.
In the Champions League, the tournament the Qatar owners are desperate to win, they are third in their group after a 3-2 defeat to Liverpool and a 6-1 win over Crvena Zvezda.
Despite everything looking rosy on the pitch, former Porto vice-president Henrique and ex-Borussia Dortmund boss Tuchel are said to be clashing.
Rumours have been rife since September that the pair are at loggerheads, especially after the club failed to sign any midfielders in the summer window.
Tuchel wanted N’Golo Kante but he remained at Chelsea and when anchorman Marco Verratti was injured they were left looking lightweight in the engine room.
In the defeat to Liverpool, winger Angel Di Maria and centre-back Marquinos played in a three-man midfield alongside Adrien Rabiot.
RMC believe Wenger would land a loftier position than sporting direction, taking a role closer to chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
