The Spanish champions yesterday unveiled to home kit for the upcoming 2019/2020 season.
The club this time around decided to ditch its iconic traditional Blaugrana striped jersey that it’s been using for more than two decades now for a checkerboard kit but maintaining its traditional blue and wine.
Fc Barcelona who had a very good season going for them until falling to the 2018/2019 champions league champions Liverpool and also losing the Spanish domestic cup ‘Copa Delray’ to Valencia say the new kit is to provide a visual inspired by the representation of its Eixample ([əˈʃamplə]; Catalan for ‘expansion’ or ‘Expansion District’) district.
The club has launched a new campaign titled “Talent takes different shapes”, which also doubles as its new slogan.
