The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has made a cash donation to Hasaacas Ladies as they prepare for the first round of the CAF Women’s Champions League.
Tamimu Issah made the donation of One Thousand Dollars ($10,000) on behalf of the Second Gentleman.
Addressing the management and playing body of Hasaacas Ladies, he wished the team well and asked them to represent Ghana and themselves well.
According to him, “following your qualification the Vice President has heard the public appeal the team launched for support towards your preparation and participation at the tournament in Cote D’Ivoire. He has asked me to make a presentation of $10,000. This is a response to the public appeal made by the club. He urges you to go all out and represent the country and yourselves well.”
Hasaacas Ladies have been drawn in Group B alongside Rivers Angel of Nigeria and AS Police de Niamey of Niger.
