The head coach of the senior national male football team, Black Stars, Charles Kwablan Akonnor says he will change the style of play of the senior national team. Coach Akonnor says the stars will now be playing offensive football.
“I can assure you we will be offensive oriented team, a team that will like to pass the ball quick, move to attack and also be able to create chances.”
The coach said he is willing to work with players who are disciplined. “I want players who are discipline, strictly into our tactical play, players who do not do things that has been discussed within the domain of the team.”
He added, “ One of the things I want to do is to just change the attitude of the players, you know there are things that we’ve done in the past that doesn’t look right and we just have to change it. But my philosophy is going to be an offensive oriented team.
