The anxiety of beach soccer lovers concerning the venue for the finals of the ongoing Super Cup, has come to an end, following an executive decision to organize the event in the Central regional capital of Cape Coast.
With the qualifying rounds currently ongoing, the finals will feature two clubs from Western region, Central region Volta region and four clubs from Greater Accra due to the huge number of beach soccer clubs in the region.
The competition is at the qualifying stages at the various regions with Shama and Jomoro representing Western region while, Young Sharks and Marine Stars picking the slots for Central region respectively.
Laboma Beach in Accra hosts the Greater Accra qualifiers on Saturday, November 2, 2019 before the train moves to Volta region to complete the search for the 10 team beach soccer festival in Cape Coast on November 30.
As part of activities to professionally develop the game at the coastal belt of Ghana and subsequently spread it nationwide, CAL Bank reaffirmed their commitment by signing a new sponsorship deal with Ghana Beach Soccer Association (GBSA) worth GHC150,000 to organize the CAL Bank Super League which would serve as a platform for the national team coaches to select players for future national assignment.
