Cristiano Ronaldo has added another record to his career after surpassing Robbie Keane who held the record with 23 goals in European qualifiers during his international career for Ireland.

The 34 year-old’s tally currently stands at 25 goals in European Championship qualifiers and hopes to add a few more goals to his name.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner scored four goals Tuesday, September 10 as Portugal thrashed Lithuania 5-1 in the Euro 2020 qualifiers in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Robbie Keane before the match jokingly posted on Instagram saying, ‘I think you have enough records, leave this one’. This didn’t stop the Juventus superstar from scoring four goals as his first of the night was from a penalty spot before adding three further goals to take his overall international tally to a whopping 93 goals for the Portuguese national team.
