Hearts of Oak Chief Operating Officer William Alexander Coleman has been sacked by the Club’s Board chairman.

Coleman who was appointed in October last year has been relieved off his job after seven months in what has been described as gross incompetence according to a report by Kickgh.com.

Sources indicate that Coleman was sacked for failing to renew the work permit of Congolese left-back Randy Ovouka which had expired weeks ago.

Ovouka has not been able to feature for the side as a result of the expiration of his work permit which saw him miss the game against Inter Allies on Sunday.

He has not played for the side under Samuel Boadu in the Ghana Premier League.

The young administrator was appointed the Chief Operating Officer in October 2020 to augment the management team of the club.

Coleman holds an MBA in Sports Management from the LaLiga-UCAM University, Spain.

He also holds Bachelors’ degree in Economics and Sociology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Sports Marketing from then LaLiga-UCAM University in Murcia, Spain.
