KETABUSCO starting five ruled unqualified after GES Investigations

All members of Keta Business College (KETABUSCO) who started in the 2020 Sprite Ball Championship Final have been ruled unqualified.

This comes after investigations into alleged cheating by the Ghana Education Service (GES) at the recently held games concluded all members of the starting roster are not students.

KETABUSCO beat Mfantsipim School 48-40 in the Boys Division Final to win the Sprite Ball for the first time ever; KETABUSCO beat Mfantsipim 32-24 in the opening game of the tournament.

Guard Prince Gidisu was named Most Valuable Player at the Tournament but is implicated in the scandal that has brought shame to the school.

Aside Gidisu, Prosper Davor, Richmond Dzikunu, Mawulolo Edem and Henry Norgbedzi have been flagged as non students of KETABUSCO.

The school has been indefinitely banned from competing in the competition and ordered to return all items for winning the 2020 Sprite Ball including the trophy and medals.

KETABUSCO was also given ¢2,000.00 as cash prize for winning the title.
