Telecommunication giants MTN has announced the commencement of the their enviable Invitational golf tournament scheduled to take place at the Celebrity Golf Club in Sakumono on Saturday 21st November, 2020.

The competition which was hit by the restrictions following the arrival of the Covid-19 is expected to attract about 100 professional and amateur golfers gracing the occasion with the sole aim of winning laurels.

The 18 hole competition will be MTN Ghana’s first and only Golf Tournament this year due to the partial lifting of the restraints imposed due to the pandemic.

Under the theme ”MTN Business, Your One -Stop -Shop For All ICT Solutions” the event will be in honour of the memory of a former MTN Board member Prof Jacob Plange Rhule who was an ardent golfer and a member of the club whose unfortunate demise occurred earlier this year.

According to the organisers, golfers stand to win handsome prizes packages and products donated by the sponsor.

Meanwhile all participants are enjoined to strictly observe the Covid protocols.
