Savannah Freight defeated Bollore by a lone in the finals of the second edition of the Freight Forwarders Corporate Football at the Elwak Stadium on Saturday to lift the glittering trophy.

The games which are aimed at serving as the platform for staff of the Freight Forwarders companies to fraternise, exercise and also release tension attracted over 10 companies vying for honors.

“This year’s event has been very great. We weren’t expecting the kind of crowd and the participation. This event has been a learning process for us. Few challenges were recorded whiles organising and we hope to correct all those errors to make the next edition bigger and great,” a member of the organising committee Emmanuel Arthur spoke after the event.

In the other games, Stellar Logistics were the champions of the Volleyball and Huge Freight picked glories in Playing Cards and Table Tennis respectively.

The defeat by Bollore in the finals of the football event rendered them to the second position whereas DHL Express picked the second runners’ up position.
