Sprite Ball Championship: 20 Senior High Schools battle for 5k prize package

Kumasi Girls Senior High School and Osu PRESEC will be looking to defend their 2018 Sprite Ball trophy this year at the El-Wak stadium.

20 teams from various Senior High Schools across the country will be slugging it out for the ultimate. 12 teams in the boys division have been drawn in four groups of three.
Group A: Osu PRESEC (defending champions), Bishop Herman College and  Sekondi College.
Group B: Pope John’s Senior High, Prempeh College and West Africa Senior High School.
Group C: Adisadel College, Opoku Ware School and Koforidua Senior High and Technical School.
Group D: Mfantsipim School, Keta Business College and St John’s School.

While the girls have been categorised in two groups of three.
Group A: Kumasi Girls Senior High School (defending champions), Mawuli Senior High School, Mfantsiman Girls Senior High School and West Africa Senior High School.
Group B: Accra Wesley Girls Senior High School, Shama Senior High School, St Louis Senior High School and Nkawkaw Senior High School.
In an interview, Yaw Sakyi the CEO of Rite Multimedia disclosed that ”the winner of this years championship will walk away with a package worth 5,000 cedis”.
The 13th edition of the Basketball championship will be honored from Friday 11th to Saturday 12 of January at the El-Wak Stadium.
