Black Stars skipper, Andre Dede Ayew was absent at Wednesday, January 12 training session.
Ayew lamented he was not fit yet played when Morrocco defeated Ghana on Monday in their Group C opener.
It was that same match Ayew sustained a head injury.
“I’ve not been feeling well for the past two days, but I wanted to play. My colleagues wanted me on the field so I did everything to be there.” Ayew said.
Wednesday’s training saw close to 25 players at the training without the captain.
Reports say the skipper has been given some time off as a precaution.
