Captain of the Senior National Team, Black Stars, Andre Ayew has been excluded from training on Wednesday morning.
The skipper sustained an injury following a collision with an opponent in the opening game defeat to Morocco.
Ghana conceded an 83rd-minute goal on Monday to be condemned to their first defeat in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON2021).
The injury has sparked some fears of the captain missing out in the crucial game against Gabon on Friday.
However, a deep throat source within the medical team has watered down fear by saying the injury is not as serious as it is been portrayed.
He further insists that Andre is expected to be ready for the big game on Friday against Gabon at the Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo in Yaoundé.
