Heavyweight boxing star Anthony Joshua has been involved in a car crash in Nigeria, according to local media reports.
The incident happened on the Lagos–Ibadan highway at Makun in Ogun State around 11 a.m. on Monday, December 29, 2025. Reports from Punch News say the vehicle carrying Anthony Joshua collided with a truck.
Two people were confirmed dead in the accident. Anthony Joshua, however, suffered only minor injuries and is said to be in stable condition.
Images and videos circulating on social media show the boxer standing near a badly damaged vehicle at the crash scene.
The accident comes just ten days after Anthony Joshua recorded a knockout victory over social media influencer Jake Paul in a highly publicised fight.
Authorities are yet to release full details on the cause of the crash, while investigations continue.
