Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo has marked a significant milestone in his personal life by proposing to his girlfriend, Jordeen Buckley.
The 25-year-old striker arranged the romantic moment after leaving the Ghana Black Stars camp, where he was sidelined due to an ankle injury ahead of a friendly match against South Korea.
Semenyo, who captained Ghana in their recent 2-0 defeat to Japan, sustained an anterior talofibular ligament injury in his left ankle during the game.
As he was ruled out of further participation, he was granted permission to leave the camp and return to the UK for treatment and recovery. It was during this time that he seized the opportunity to propose to Buckley.
In a carefully planned and intimate setting, Semenyo went down on one knee and asked Jordeen Buckley, a London-based model and social media influencer, to marry him.

Buckley later shared the joyous occasion on her Instagram stories, displaying her engagement ring and offering fans a glimpse of the elegant celebration that followed.
Accompanying her photos was a heartfelt caption quoting Song of Solomon 3:4: “Forever has a nice ring to it. I have found the one whom my soul loves.”
The couple’s followers have since celebrated the announcement, congratulating them on this next chapter.
This personal milestone comes amid Semenyo’s rising profile as a key player for both Bournemouth and the Ghana national team.
Despite the setback of his injury, the engagement news brings positive attention off the pitch as he focuses on recovery and his future with Buckley.
