Asogli Yam Festival: Two-Day Handball Gala at Ho Sports Stadium on Sep 2-3

The Ho Sports Stadium will on September 2 and 3, 2023, witness the jumps, the blocks, the holding, and the fast breaks as handball athletes, enthusiasts, and families will gather for a two-day Handball Gala as part of the Asogli Yam Festival celebrations.

The two-day event will host teams from Dambai, Nkwanta, and Hohoe to compete for bragging rights.

Both male and female handball teams will compete in their various categories in an all-play-all format for the big Trophy and cash prize.

In the Women’s game, hosts, Ho Stars Handball Club will play against the Breakers Handball Club from Dambai and the Ephors Handball Club from Nkwanta.

For the men’s game, Ephors Handball Club, Breakers Handball Club, Ho Stars Handball Club, and Handball Gurus would also contest each other.

The Handball Gala is in partnership with the Ho Stars Handball Club, the Volta Regional Handball Association, and the Asogli State.
