Oh, the irony; Southampton’s cheeky X jab at a salty Arsenal fan, “Enjoy your quadruple, pal,” after dumping the Gunners out of the FA Cup.

Just two weeks back, the Emirates buzzed with quadruple fever; now it’s back-to-back gut punches: City in the Carabao Cup final, then Shea Charles’ 85th-minute dagger at St. Mary’s. Arsenal, meet reality. The Saints, languishing in the Championship, just schooled the title chasers, turning hype into humiliation.

Arteta’s £250m Gamble Yet to Win Trophies
Let’s rewind: Arteta’s £250m summer spree promised silverware after three runner-up heartbreaks and zero majors since 2020. First real shot? Carabao Cup, blitzed by City.

FA Cup quarters against Championship minnows? Down after Viktor Gyokores’ lifeline fizzled. Fifth loss this season, first double-dip defeat. Quadruple? More like a participation ribbon, Arsenal’s big-money revolution looks like expensive smoke and mirrors.

Injuries or Excuses? Pick a Lane
Injuries? Eleven pulling out during the international, coincidence or Arteta’s subtle sabotage? Rice, Saka, Trossard benched; Odegaard rusty since January; Gabriel limping off.

Christian Norgaard’s right: no excuses. Even Kepa over Raya screamed panic. Micah Richards said it, play your best XI for a reaction. Instead, rotation roulette backfired spectacularly, leaving fans wondering if depth is a myth.

City’s Shadow Looms Larger Than Ever
City’s laughing all the way, thrashing Liverpool 4-0 en route to semis, primed to pummel Arsenal at the Etihad. Guardiola’s ghosts haunt the title race; they’ve owned Arsenal’s “nearly” era.

From quadruple hype to two-comp limbo overnight. The Premier League giants expose Arsenal’s pretensions every time.

Arteta’s Delusional Pep Talk Falls Flat
Arteta’s post-match defense? Noble, but delusional. Clarity and tweaks won’t erase this “first moment” slump. With Prem and UCL teetering, pressure’s crushing.

22 years without a league crown. Fine words can’t paper over a trophy cabinet gathering dust.

Arsenal’s Eternal ‘Almost’
So, Arsenal: enjoy your quadruple, pal. Time to win something, or join the “almost” hall of fame forever. Southampton’s troll isn’t just funny, it’s a reality check.
