Hearts beat Eleven Wonders 2:0 to secure top four spot

Accra Hearts of Oak maintained their momentum under Serbian Coach Kosta Papic as they beat Techiman Eleven Wonders by two-goals-to-nil at the Accra Sports Stadium in Week 9 of the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians, determined to pick the maximum points, dominated play right from the start of the match. With 11 minutes on the clock, the team took the lead courtesy a strike from young attacker Umar Manaf.

 A delightful strike by in-form striker Victor Aidoo in the second half doubled the lead of the home team. By this victory, Hearts of Oak have climbed into the 4th position on the league log clocking 15 points.

It was a goalless draw between Ashanti Gold and Meadema, while Aduana Stars defeated Legon Cities by two-goals-to-one. League leaders Karela FC recorded the biggest score line by thrashing Berekum Chelsea 4-1.
