The match showcased the team’s attacking strength and tactical ability as they hammered their opponents from start to finish. With this dominant win, Ghana continues to make waves in the tournament, proving its potential on the international stage.
The Black Damsels wasted no time in asserting their dominance, with Priscilla Mensah setting the tone early in the game. She opened the scoring in the 16th minute with a composed finish, displaying her clinical ability in front of goal. Mensah doubled her tally just 10 minutes later, netting her second goal in the 26th minute to strengthen Ghana’s dominance on the game. Her braces provided a solid foundation for the team, allowing them to dictate the flow of the match.
As the game progressed, Ghana’s attacking depth and cohesion became evident. Seidatu Wahab extended the lead to 3-0 with a well-taken goal, further solidifying her team’s control. The result follows a 8-1 thrashing of host nation Malta two days ago.
