The Minister of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, Professor Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng, says the poverty gap in Africa is technological.
For this reason, government has formed science technology and innovation advisory council to help bridge the gap in the country.
At the launch of the 2nd International Conference of the African Light Source and Pan African Conference on Crystallography in Accra, Professor Frimpong -Boateng, explained that Africa lacks technology to manufacture her needs and therefore depend on imports from the western world.
