Gov’t instituting strong Digital culture to solve Ghana's problems – Bawumia

A new technology named IBox is in the offing to enable students in the rural areas to get access to the internet.
Spearheaded by some young Ghanaians, the technology when completed will help drive government’s E-education project which will entail the uploading of lecturing materials in second cycle schools for others in rural areas to access online.
Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia who announced this at the opening of the 2nd Biennial Africa Regional Conference of the International Communication Association in Accra said the conference has come at an opportune time when many African countries especially Ghana have taken the decision to formalise the economy through the use of technology.
He urged the participants to create synergies that will result in innovative ideas.
