Acquisition of Ghanaian passport via the manual processing will from March 1, become a thing of the past.
This follows a successful piloting of online processing of passports at various regional Acquisition Centers.
The move is to streamline, and sanitize passport acquisition processing and enhance service delivery to Ghanaians.
Speaking to Radio Ghana, Director of Passport Francis Danti Kotia, indicated that his office is working round the clock to establish offices in the Upper East, Upper West, Central and the six newly created regions.
Passport Applicants are to use the Online Passport Application platform; passport.mfa.gov.gh to submit their applications.
