China has hinted of import and export tariff adjustments on some products starting from January 1 next year.

In a statement, the Ministry said it will not levy export tariffs on 94 products including fertilizer and iron ore. More than 700 import items would be levied but low import tariffs for aircraft engines would be maintained.

The trade giants will also further cut tariffs on 298 information technology products from July 2019.
