Also among the most-talked-about contenders to win Nobel’s biggest prize are New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern for her response to a deadly terror attack at a Christchurch mosque, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed for his role in bringing an end to his country’s conflict with neighbouring Eritrea, and Native Brazilian leader and environmentalist Raoni Metuktire for his work to protect the Amazon.
Earlier this week, the winners for Physiology or Medicine, Physics, Chemistry, and Literature were announced.
