Theresa May holds "No Deal" Brexit cabinet meeting

Theresa May is to hold a special cabinet meeting today to discuss a possible No-Deal Brexit – as the government works on contingency plans.

It comes as the Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab said publicly for the first time that the UK may not pay a financial settlement.

Mark Carney, Governor of the Bank of England, has previously suggested that the possibility of a No Deal outcome was “uncomfortably likely”.

Mr Raab is also due to publish the next tranche of no-deal guidances today, which will cover areas relevant to ordinary people’s lives including passports, driving licenses and mobile phone roaming charges.
