World to witness first supermoon of 2021

The World will witness its first supermoon where the moon will be at its fullest on Monday at 11:32 p.m. ET, (Tuesday 03:33GMT) according to NASA.

A supermoon occurs when a full or new moon is at its closest point to Earth, looking much larger and brighter than a typical full moon.

According to NASA, the first supermoon of 2021 is set to be at peak illumination on Monday at 11:32 p.m. ET, (Tuesday 03:33GMT) and the second supermoon will occur on May 26

The Moon will appear full for about 3 days around through Wednesday morning.
