The 43rd Ordinary Session of the Permanent Representatives Committee (PRC) of the African Union comes off today.
The two-day event to be held virtual will focus on “Building resilience in nutrition on the African continent: Accelerate Human Capital, Social and Economic Development”.
The opening ceremony for this year’s PRC under the auspices of the African Union Commission (AUC), will feature statements by the Chairperson of the Commission and his counterpart on the Permanent Representatives’ Committee.
The Session will consider different reports including that of the 4th Ordinary Session of the Specialized Technical Committee (STC) on Agriculture, Rural Development, Water, and Environment.
It will again review the Report of the 4th Ordinary Session of the STC on Finance, Monetary Affairs, Economic Planning, and Integration, Report of the 2nd Extraordinary Session of the STC on Finance, Report of the 3rd Ordinary Session of the STC on Trade, Industry and Minerals, Progress Report on Ratification of the Treaty to establish the African Medicine Agency and the Activity Report of the African Court on Human and People’s Rights among others.
