About 710 fighters of Libya’s official govt killed since beginning of battle for Tripoli

TRIPOLI – Seven hundred and 10 fighters of the internationally recognised Libyan government in Tripoli have been killed since the beginning of the battle for the capital, the government said in a statement.

The offensive launched by eastern Libyan commander Khalifa Haftar to take control of Tripoli has entered its fifth week, killing almost 400 people and displacing 50,000.
