West Africa’s regional bloc ECOWAS has condemned the attack on worshippers at a Church in South-Western Nigeria.
In a statement, ECOWAS said, ”it was shocked at the incident”, and expressed sympathy with the government of Nigeria and the families of the victims who were killed at the St Francis Catholic Church in Owo on Sunday, June 5, 2022.
ECOWAS also reaffirmed solidarity with the Nigerian government and the resolve to rid the nation and the sub-region of terrorist activities.
