The Daily Graphic says it is in the interest of all to support the Office of the Administrator General (OAG) to carry out its responsibilities under Sections 8(2) of Act 845. According to the paper a fully functional OAG will ensure a comprehensive National Register of Assets. The office will also be in a position to appropriately advise governments on future acquisitions, be they vehicles, lands or buildings. The Graphic commends government for its adherence to Act 845 by setting up its Transition Team although the incoming is still the incumbent. The Paper looks forward to a second term in office during which the Office will be resourced to give Ghanaians the assurance that their public assets are being watched over well.

The Ghanaian Times calls for stringent laws that can ensure road safety. The paper thinks laws that currently deal with driving offences are not deterrent enough and needs strong ones such as law banning a driver and his license seized for some time. Also, executives of associations should be backed by law to be able to discipline their members.  If these are put in place they can help ensure road safety.
