The Ghanaian Times adds its voice to calls for urgent and adequate supply of Anti-retroviral s to provide treatment for Persons Living with HIV and AIDS. This is to assist them gain greater accessand to remain adherent to and avoid instability in treatment regimes. The Paper acknowledges challenges facing government in the midst of the COVID 19 as well as competing demands facing the nation. That notwithstanding the country however cannot fail to recognize obstacles to effective health care in the country. The Times urges the country to avert at all times shortage of the Anti-retroviral in order not to jeopardize the treatment programme of the nation.

The Daily Graphic reiterates the need for government to put in place well thought out strategies to protect lives, safeguard jobs, and support businesses to sustain operations during this COVID 19 pandemic and beyond. The paper however commends government for acting decisively in the national interest to support households and businesses but believes with the predicted long lasting effect of the pandemic, the country cannot afford to throw its hands in despair but remain undaunted and undertake urgent development responses. It said assessing the impact of the pandemic on the society, and economy is fundamental to putting in tailored solutions to recover from the crisis and ensure that no one is left behind.
